Hello, my name is Wayne Beck and I am the owner of The Pest Master. Our business is family-run and not a franchise. We provide pest control services in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Over 25 years ago, I began my career in pest control by working for small and large national companies. This gave me a comprehensive understanding of the pest control industry, as well as the business aspect of this line of work.
I have a friendly and enthusiastic personality, making it easy for people to get along with me. During my spare time, I enjoy jet skiing in Cornwall and engaging in activities such as scuba diving and horseback riding.
As a family man, I am proud to share that I have been happily married to my wife Sarah for 27 years. Together, we have a teenage daughter, a dog named Blue, and four horses – Scooby, Nelson, Ivy, and Fred, the latter two named in honour of my grandparents.
My family is important to me, especially my late grandparents Ivy and Fred. They were highly supportive and proud of my achievements. Their passing made me value what made them proud of me – being respectful, kind and honest – values that influence my business.
We had a tough year as a family last year when my Father, who, like me, inherited a strong work ethic, passed away. He had served Rolls Royce for almost half a century, just like my Grandfather before him.
With years of experience in the industry, we have gained a lot of knowledge and take pride in our qualifications and affiliations with various groups. Our expertise is in Pest Management and we are fully qualified in it.

I have completed all three modules of the RSPH Level 2 award in Pest Management. This course is very comprehensive and requires passing a written exam at the end of the course for all modules. The modules covered Vertebrates, Invertebrates, and Legislation, which included topics such as acts of parliament, health and safety, safe handling and storage of pesticides and rodenticides, as well as the latest laws related to wildlife and countryside acts.
The following topics will be covered: Principles of Rodent Control, Principles of Insect Control, and The Safe Use and Storage of Pesticides.
I successfully completed a specialised course on bedbugs with some of the top experts in America called “Killing Bedbugs Using Science”.
I am highly knowledgeable about wasps and their biology and behaviour, as I have successfully completed a specialised course in wasp nest removal. Therefore, I can confidently say that I am one of the top wasp experts in our area.
I possess a qualification for Food Safety and Hygiene at Level 2.

We serve a diverse group of clients ranging from domestic homeowners and shopkeepers to large corporations. However, we cannot disclose the names of these companies due to our strict confidentiality policy. Regardless of the size of your business or property, we offer our services to everyone. We even provide bedbug detection services to hotels and guesthouses using state-of-the-art technology such as Sniffer Dogs.
